AN 18-month-old toddler is shot when a drive-by hitman tries to murder her dad.The ignorance of the British populace is truly dumbfounding. But as long as their society remains free of guns (that is – just their law abiding non-felons) they’ll put up with 18-month-olds getting shot because their defenseless fathers are at the mercy of their attackers.
A 14-year-old girl is gunned down in the street as she walks home.
A seven-year-old girl is killed after being shot in the back.
But the Government would have us believe that crime has fallen.
Official police figures show gun crime has doubled in the past five years, robbery is up 50 per cent and violent crime is up 83 per cent.
There are 3,000 violent crimes a day — that’s 125 every hour.
The appalling thing about a lot of the shootings is that many people don’t bat an eyelid.
In some parts of our cities, the streets are more dangerous than New York 20 years ago.
But because so much violent crime is what the police call black on black, involving drug gangs, we don’t seem to care.
When a toddler is shot and innocent girls murdered, we all HAVE to care.
A society that looks the other way is on the road to destruction.
