DALLAS - Dallas County, the home to some of the biggest conservative supporters of President Bush, made history Tuesday night by electing an openly gay Hispanic woman as its sheriff.I wonder what Cher would have to say about this. As you may remember, it was Cher who made those lovely comments to a South Florida crowd, urging them to vote for Kerry because the conservatives would pack all the gays up and banish them from our society.
